Tailrec is new, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. No “trusted by 200 clients” badge, no logo wall. What we have instead is the thing logo walls are a proxy for: engineers with a track record you can verify, doing the work themselves.
Why “Tailrec”
In Scala, a tail-recursive function is one the compiler can optimise into a loop — it runs indefinitely in constant space. It doesn't accumulate baggage as it goes.
That's the operating principle: engagements that stay lean at any scale, and a company that doesn't grow a management layer between you and the people doing the work.

What we believe about this business
Correctness is a commercial feature.
Fintech and data teams pick Scala because the type system catches money-losing bugs before production. An agency serving them should think the same way about contracts and scope.
The bait-and-switch is the industry's core dishonesty.
Interview a senior, get a junior. We wrote its prohibition into our standard contract because saying "we don't do that" is free and proving it shouldn't be.
Saying no is a service.
Some problems don't need Scala. Some don't need an agency. Telling you that in the first 45 minutes costs us revenue and earns us the call you make next year.
